Does the RX-8 differential housing fit?

I know the internals are a direct swap, but the housings also look basically identical. Does anyone know if it will fit as long as you swap the mounts?
Five-speed RX-8 manual transmissions are also apparently a direct swap.

Dang... was hoping to pick up a 4.444 with an aftermarket LSD already installed. Haha.

think I asked same on here somewhere within the last year or two, but not a dedicated thread

it’s definitely stronger; not requiring a girdle or anything similar, up to the point that the wheel hub axle stubs are the weak point

https://www.rx8club.com/non-rotary-s...5/#post4974105

but I can supply a low mileage 4.444 R&P if you need one

.

I don't want to pay for international shipping. Haha. RX-8 parts are pretty cheap here.
