does the mooing pipe need filtration??

I could just leave the mooing hose blowing into the atmosphere can't I... or is there a benifit if I shove a breather on it??

People use the filter to try to quite it down, but it is actually blowing air out, not sucking in. So you need no filter.

Actually, if you are using the air pump, then you don't want to plug it up. I'll post some info from maxpesce (hope you don't mind maxpesce):
