does this make sense???

just wondering....... would a blocked cat-converter cause enough backpressue to blow the pipe/hose that runs from the airpump to the main cat? reason why i ask this is b/c mine blew the other night (someone replaced the metal pipe with a rubber hose).... and ive been getting poor boost on the secondary turbo.... symptoms are similar to a blocked cat, but im having trouble diagnosing... any thoughts?

i would take off the cat and punch it out with a long pipe or just replace it wiht a mp. what does your boost look like anyways?
