Does Kinked fuel retrn line= Hard Starting
Guys, I just put my newly rebuilt motor back in my car and I'm having a hell of a time try to get this damn thing to run. Every once in a while, if I play around with the spark plug wires and do the ATF trick, I can get it to start. Im wondering ,however, because It looks like the fuel rtrn. line might be kinked a little; is it possible that, because it's kinked, too much pressure is building up in the supply line causing the injectors to send more fuel into the housing when it opens, ultimately causing a flooded situation!?!
My reasons for thinking this:
1. Just rebuilt and have compression.
2. Had Map sensor issue but replaced with 3 bar.
3. All new fluids and gas, although I haven't replaced the filter yet.
4. I have fuel pressure cause when I take the fuel filler cap off it makes a loud vaccum sound, so I know the pump is working!!
HOLLA BK! Let me know what ya think!!

If the returned line was kinked completely preventing any return, then your engine would floud out as fuel pressure would be the max the pump could do.
Verify your fuel pressure.
I bet that you hosed something else.
