have you consider the temperature just dosent get as hot in UK as to US california ? On warm days we get 90+F some areas in california gets up to about 120+F. Thats not including asphalt temperature..add about a other 15F

Exactly. The temperatures climb, at least in part, because you're no longer spraying water on the sensor.

But I'm not spraying water directly on the sensor. I spray it much closer to the intercooler and by the time it travels through the elbow and into the throttle body and UIM the water has atomised with the air.

I removed an aquamist and sold it as I would not be using it...I can reinstall my windshield washer tank and maybe wire up an intercooler sprayer? Is there a kit that exists on the market?
