I have a RHD FD that im gonna do a LHD conversion on and the big problem is to find steering racks from LHD cars. havent checked to much but i dont bet the RHD can be turned to fit the LHD. but it is much easier to find a LHD FC T2 steering rack.

will it fit? without to much modification

I dont have power steering left in the car so gonna run it manual.

also does the miata rack fit?

 

Not sure, but that is a good question. If memory serves, the rack mounts in a similar fashion.

But, used LHD racks should be easy to get your hands on if you don't mind shipping from the US.

that would be pretty sweet if the FC factory manual rack somehow could be made to fit in an FD. I've never heard of someone trying it before. They're great steering racks and they are easily available because a lot of base model nonturbo cars came with them.

 

exactly. i could take it from the US but i bet i would save 400USD on using another rack from another car
