Does anyone know the answer? US versions were pretty rare anyways. But, I wonder how many have been totaled, or parted out. Do you think that the FDs will be a collectors item one day?

Good question. I also want to know the exact number of every model that's on the road right now.

I have heard that of the roughly 15,000 units total imported over the '92 - '96 years to the U.S. and Canada, that there are about only half left REGISTERED. One place claimed 5,700 units, another was saying about 6,800. I personally believe there are more than that, probably closer to 10,000 left, but I may be wrong. If one was so inclined, you can search public records for make and model of vehicles registered per county....but that is a daunting task indeed, when you consider all the counties in all the states, as well as the Canadian....what is they have...provinces...how "provincial".....
but anyway surely there is an easier way?
As for collectible status....to some they are already there, but realistically only runs of 500 units or less are considered highly prized.

Somebody said there are 3000 registered FD's in the U.S.? Maybe there are another 4000 in Canada So the total is like 7000?
