Does air injection piping work with 99 twins?

Does air injection piping work with 99 twins?
I'm trying to install a cat and air pump and related piping and am having a problem getting the air injection pipes that run from the LIM to the cat to mate to the 99 twins. It seems like the pipe is angled incorrectly for the 99 twins.
Anyone else have this issue?
