Do You Still Run Your Oxygen Pump?

Hi,

Ok, the advantages that I have seen so far from removing it is that you have the 10+lb weight saving and maybe a little power was being taken away from the pully system by it, and also cleaning up the engine bay.

Other than that I haven't found anything else...
I was just wondering who still runs their Oxygen Pump...if not, what mods do you have, and have you had any clogging or other problems?

Keeping my smog pump...it was worth getting rid of it just for the room I had in the engine bay...

mods...too many too list...EVERYTHING except single turbo...

Mine's gone
You should only remove it if you are not running a cat, and if you are not running a car, you know you will at least need to have an upgraded ECU.

Cat + no air pump = clogged/dead cat.

Well the airpump also takes up room and our engine bay is pretty cramped

Hey Ricky, oops Im sorry, RIKKI. Wouldnt want to fight a girl now would I. Have no problem with someone taking off or keeping their Airpump and cats on, Its their choice. But to promote pollution to others and then disrespect those of us who are trying to provide the best for the human population and the environment, WELL thats a different story jack ***.

But then again, look who I am speaking with. Someone who has a large stock IC on stock twins. Go ahead, pm me your damn address, and everything else and Ill show you what a t62, fmic can do to your black beauty.

Then Ill get out of the car and show you what I can do to your uneducated ***.

So guys, "how big a boys are ya?"

Bad appex you might want to tone it down a bit before you get banned. If every Fd owner in here ditched their smog pumps and went with a straight thru exhaust. It wouldn't hurt the planet one bit. You might want to stop reading all the liberal press. Besides I don't know your talking about. You started it Rikki obviously was making a light hearted statement about enviromentalists. You are the one who decided to make it personal.
Plus Ryan is abou 6ft 2" And built like a truck. So you may want to rethink your position. Just some friendly advice. I'm not your enemy here either so don't attack me too please.

Violator, your sig is this?

apexi fmic/intake
blitz nurspec cb
hks dp/mp
mild streetport
pettit unlimited ecu

If you are running a midpipe, the air pump is doing nothing but taking up space. It's only useful if you have a cat...

My God Nikki, you sound like a 19 yr. old punk who couldnt "school" anything, let alone anyone. AS far as you IC unit, Its nice as hell, but if you read my message correctly(Gonna have to go back for that GED to pull this one off), you speak such large words for someone who has the stock T-W-I-N turbos on. Hope this clears it up.
PS. I used to have an M2 medium with my single and loved it. Put a FMIC cause my car became a weekend toy.

Another PS. People might try to understand that a "green" car with a hybrid motor can deliver torque instantly(known as spades).
So when they do come out with the Acura DMX you know this tree hugger will be buying one. Later Nik, and keep smelling that troll of yours(but enough about your family)
