Stock spring and roll bars, GAB Super R 8-ways set to 1/8 or 3/8 (soft).

Yeah, with race rubber I'm sure the lean would be even greater. I've already scraped the lip.

Dave,

Was that one of those AutoX events which use a Karting course? I saw some footage of an Else doing one of those and it looked kind of fun.

Dunno what it's regularly used for - just 4 turns + 1 offset in each straightaway. Like a 24 second mini road course. Our region held a driver's 'school' on Sat and an unofficial AutoX on Sun. You can see it from these pics if you're really curious:

It was a blast since I'm just a beginner, but I piled in a bunch of laps on Saturday with an instructor, then came out and did it again on Sunday. So compared to navigational nightmare of a regular AutoX course, I actually got to know how to drive it consistently and get a little closer to the limits of the car. The one offset was immediatelly following turn 4, so I was getting near redline in 2nd at the turn 1 braking point. Having a rotary is great since I could leave it in 2nd the whole way around - only the rotaries could pull that off.

Nope, it definitely won't die.

Friday I was at Summit Point's Shenandoah circuit (the new twisty one) and I would have loved some pictures from there. The uphill braking zone before the Karrousel turn would have been sweet. But it's all good - a guy had a Porsche Carrera GT on the track. The sound of that engine at 8400rpm makes a Ferrari sound like a whining baby.

Daym I completely ignored this thread thinking it was referring to A/F ratios. Glad I decided to take a look. Some awesome autox pictures. That pic above of Damian's car is just plain awesome.

Yep, Damian's car anyway... I was driving. That pic was from the One Lap event at Roebling Road. The driver of the M5 is TC Klein, (http://www.tcklineracing.com/) and he's pointing me past. I was a little tenative going around him there, immediately after this pic is the hard left, and I went by him on the inside. (left) It's the slowest turn on the course, and it was a little slick as you can see from all the dust and the fact that I was offline.

This was my highlight from the whole trip, TC is a great guy, and he joked with me afterward that when he gives me a point, I better get in there and get around him. Passing is not what you want to happen in One Lap, since it's three timed laps, and passing slows you both down. But it was fun, and I still ended up 9th overall in the first session, and 12th overall in the second even with the pass.

Got lean

This is my LS6 powered RX7 at the same autox as RECON above. STOCK AUTO 94 Suspension. AND I just got a set of race tires so it's going to be even worse. Looked like my car was taking off when on throttle, and you should see it now.

Oh yeah, I beat all of the other FD's with this setup and these crap street tires. (that's some smack for you marshall)
