Nice! Good to see some from the AutoX fiend!

Here is a picture of lean PLUS suspension compression from The Corkscrew at Laguna Seca. Check out that ground clearance.

Badass!!! Do you have a hi res pic of this? would like tomake it my new computer desktop. What suspension setup are you running (sorry, didn't bother to look up your posts)? Any problems with bottoming out? Man I would love to run my car like that. I've gotten pretty good at Gran Turismo in the FD down that corkscrew

I run advance design shocks with RSR race springs. The car is not normally as low as it looks in that picture. There is a downhill and then a bit of a dip right at the point where that picture was taken so the suspension is compressed to the max PLUS the car is leaning hard. The suspension does not normally bottom out but the airdam and wheel well does scrape a little bit sometimes in that particular corner.

I have a much larger version of that pic on my wall. I tried to scan it but my scanner threw a fit. I'll see what I can do.

Go there with me in September! Not many track days available this year because of major renovations needed to make the Moto GP guys happy.

Haha, yeah right. I know you're better on the track than me and I'll probably run street tires too. That and I tend to only run 10 psi at the track in warmer weather. Who knows though, maybe it will only be in the 70s and I'll run a session at 15 psi...

9th out of 14. Our friend alwan16 drove a GT3 to second place.

4 Elise
5 GT3
4 Z06
1 FD

results here

To tell you the truth I'm happy with 9th as I figured more like 11th or 12th after seeing the entry list. I was only a few tenths back from 7th and figured surely I could find a tenth and a half on each side Sunday morning but could go no faster.

9th with that competition looks pretty good. No doubt the elise had a huge advantage, and it showed.

Pretty pics. You're not braking hard until you can grind the front lip on the ground Here's slowing (on race tires) for a first gear corner.
