My RX7 never complains when I stomp on the cas. What ***** do you know that dosent mind you beating it around from time to time?? ***** complains, RX7 never once complained.I dont have to figure out some psycological thing with my RX7. I can change anything i want on my RX7 but i still have the same old *****. But eather way my dick still gets hard

Love my FD more than my woman. My FD has been down for 5 monthes now and I still talk to it every time I walk by it in the driveway, in a mater of fact I gave her a hug this morning and told her I love her and when I get her running again Im going to take her out for a nice full tank of 92 octan. We are planning a trip into the mountains this spring. Her and I with the wind in our face and sun at our backs its a time that cant come soon enough, speacking of cumming I think Ill do that when she cranks over.

Dude the FD is a passion you ether have it or you dont, if you dont then sell your FD to some that realy wants it.

I truly think that all the 3rd gen owners dont regret owner there car. i know i will never sell mine unless i get enough money for it. i got offered $15,000 cash i then said $20,000 no less, its not forsale if i did get 20k for it i would sell it and buy a 95 and mod the **** out of it

Then I get inside it for a little weekend drive and think it's worth every penny!

 

no regrets here. i have so much money in this car in mods and repairs, i lost count. The thing is i love puting money into it. Seems like everytime i mod her, she runs a little better. I think she likes it.

 

Love my FD. It's given me no trouble at all in two years of driving and autocross (fingers crossed :-)

If you're not willing to spend a little extra when your car breaks and fiddle a little extra to keep it at optimum, you likely don't need one.

If you like every babe in town to check you out and every guy to drool with jealousy, it may be a good choice.

Spanking $15k Hondas with $20k+ in mods is amusing too :-) Spanking C4 Vettes is fun too, if mine weren't stock I'd whip up on C5s. But heck, I whip up on them in twisty races anyhow :-) Went to a Corvette club autocross last year and beat about 3/4 of the field. I was the only non-Vette there :-)

Something doesn't add up here... 20k in nearly ANY honda is going to make you cry. APC stickers and a wing doesn't = 20k. Go find yourself a few well built Integras and see if you get the same results. My 11K GSR with about 5K in mods ran 12's and handled like a cart.. We won't even get into the spanking vettes thing..

 

Me too, i love spending money on my car, Im not real sure what I would spend it on if I didnt have my FD...

 

You know...I have only had mine two years...Everytime I see it in the garage I start to jump up and down and do a cheer like some ******* little chick or something....So yeah, It was worth every penny...Looking back at it now there are only a few things I would have done differently...Just money saving wise...but I would still have a 7....I may have to get rid of mine because I may move back home but you can bet you *** that as soon as I move I am getting another one.

 

Financially, the 7 was a disaster...But that doesn't change the fact that I love her

 

with out a doubt its worth it... its becomming the most expensive toy ive ever owned, but every time i drive it, i like it more

 

ive owned mine for 2 years this month. im not gonna lie, im only 19 i cant afford the maintenance. I have paid for the mods, but my parents have helped me when the car needed to go to kdr.

they always joke about it being a money pit and stuff, but my Dad chose to get the car repainted this last winter when it was at the body shop for something else just because he likes it so much. slowly it has made its way into the only garage spot when 4 of my parents cars are sitting outside.

i dont think there is any other car i could have bought with the amount of money i had to spend or more that would have given me the same satisfaction that the fd does. i always look at it as i walk away from it at parking lots. sometimes i just hang out in the garage even when theres no work to be done, just to look at it.

I was just saying that I may have to move out of the country and go back to Jamaica (where I am now)...Can't import any cars older than 5 years old here...And it may be about 2 years before I have to move back so as soon as i get back i am taking it to gotham for the rebuild and turbo conversion. So no...not the price...I have been in Jamaica now for almost 2 months and decided that if I have to move back I would not sell it...I have a friend with a garage that I can leave it with...Can always fly back to the states 3-4 times a year to drive it...Even after all of that...Yes, still worth it...Too much blood, sweat, and time invested...Not to mention money.

 

I owned my first FD when I was only 19 and lost it in the same year to a drunk driver that hit me from behind. I almost killed the guy if it weren't for Highway Patrol showing up on the scene.
Now I'm about to pick up my 2nd one next weekend (Valentine's gift to myself). No doubts, no worries, not even a hint of hesitation. I know in my heart that it's the right thing to do and my feelings will never change.

 

I don't regret buying the car, although I do regret buying it when I did, and in the manner I did.
If I had it all over to do again, I would have tried hard to find a seven with a blown motor that someone was giving up on, and gone from there. Maybe I wouldn't have had any luck finding one, but that's what I would have tried.
I also would have probably bought it about a year ago(rather than 3), after I got more stable, than to have gone through as many life changes, as I did and have this car make me look like an irresponsible *** while my bills double, and repair bills triple.
When it works, there is nothing like it.
When it beaks, there is nothing like it.

Either way, it inspires more emotional response than anything i've ever owned.

I would have left it stock until it was paid for if I was going to do it again...because when it's down for mods, you still pay HIGH $$$ insurance to have it sit there and when you buy all the performance/reliability parts you still have a car note.

 

ive had mine for a year and a half right now. Never regretted the purchase once.

 

Besides the arm and a leg I am now missing and all the other costs that come up with an FD, I don't regret at all.

My FD was completly rebuilt and finished about a month before I left for the UK. I got here, and on the day I was to pick it up, a doctor f'ed up and accidentally cut my external iliac artery and vein during a routine appendectomy. He f'ed up so bad, I lost over 7 units of blood and almost died on the table...and lost the majority of the muscle of my lower right leg, along with full paralysis of it. I've slowly worked to rehabilitate myself since then...and although there's not much left of my leg, and my toes and foot are still paralyzed, I still have my hip and my knee.

Ever since I got screwed over, and that doctor almost took my leg, I've done nothing but try and rehabilitate myself for that sole reason. I haven't driven it in over 8 months now. I'll be able to drive...REAL soon. The FD is now fully registered in the UK, and that sucker is going to get real familiar with my new, rehabilitated leg...even if there's not much left of it.
