Do I Need a Mechanic???
I wanna remove my intake manifold & throttle body so i can get em polished.....how difficult is it to remove them......or more importantly put em back on?
Go check out rob robinette's site (google search). There are also the FSM's for download (sticky in the 3rd gen forum). It also depends on how much patience you have and how mechanically inclined you are--but no, it is not hard at all.
Take pictures, from all possible angles...
The bad part is even if you do, there will be connectors that you have to remove you won't be able to see, so be carefull all that stuff is 10++ years old. The only saving grace is you can't miss-connect much, since they're all keyed and too short to reach to something else... with the same key....
And don't force anything, it all comes appart easy, if it doesn't you haven't removed everything.... especially on the elbow...

DaleClark did a great step-by-step removing the intake manifold here:
