Do I have a problem w/ my BOV?

Like most I have some oil in my IC and intake tract. But recently I also noticed some oil on the air cleaner element (stock airbox) near where the primary draws from. No oil on the element where the BOV vents.

I never hear the BOV and had just assumed that you don't on a stock system. Is this correct? Have done the FSM tests with a vacuum pump on the BOV and checked the vacuum line from the UIM. No problems found.

Is there some normal amount of surging in the primary turbo that would send oil back the other way? Or, is there a problem with my BOV?

Only performance mod is downpipe.

U wont hear the BOV on the stock system/airbox unless you disconnect that hose. Have you been boosting heavy lately... (that may be stupid question for 3rd gen guys lol)

Not especially. Just my normal driving which is some boosting, of course. The oil pattern still seems strange to me though.
