do fd chassis weaken over time

i was wondering if it is possible for the FD chassis itself to become less stiff over time. im not talking about parts like bushings which wear and cause suspension problems...this is about the chassis itself.

oh, and btw. . . all things fatigue when stress is applied. . . so yes. . . over the years. . . seams could shift. . . blah, blah, blah. . . get my drift. but. . . thats why automobiles have suspensions and bushings and the such. . . this significantly lengthens the time the chassis is still good. . . hehe, youll never witness the car just. . . falling apart. . . is that enough?

After about 120,000 miles they have been known to vibrate the PPF out, and the damn shocks just "vibrate" themselves off!!

No, steel construction will maintain its stiffness indefinitely, unless welds start breaking. The only parts I've heard of breaking down like that are the powerplant frame. That is removed and repaired with relative ease.

However, the suspension bushings definitely wear out, and have an effect on handling.
