Do a FC rear diff fit in to a stock FD

Hi..

I have broken my rear diff and have difficult finding another rear diff here in Europe. I can find a rear diff from a FC 1991 model. Is that an easy direct fit or is it not worth trying..??

Thanks

You want a diff out of an 86-88 series 4 Turbo 2 as it is clutch-type. The series 5 diffs were viscous and are not that great. I ran the earlier for years. Make sure you change the carrier bearings.
