Question DIY for installing FMIC??? anyone?

just wondering, is there a "do it yourself" thread anywhere here for installing a FMIC?
it looks fairly easy for the fd's but i was reading up on the greddy FMIC and it says it may take 6 hours?!

i hope not, im planning to install mine sometime this week...thanks

6 hours sounds about right. if not longer, since you have to trim the bumper to get the greddy to fit (assuming you have an M-spec).

Ya. Six hours is a good figure. And just follow the greddy website installation instructions

It took me about 8 hours spread over one week - changing the radiator mounts several times.

Mine was done when I bought it, but holy crap, everything got moved in there. Still don't have the AC condenser re-mounted. I wish you luck. I would also like to see an offical write-up on the install.

It really is not that bad. Just takes a little while especially when trimming the bumper if you are committed to it looking clean and professional when you are finished. Really the install is very straightforward. Just follow the instructions GReddy includes. 6 hours sounds right for a quality, well done job.

i started installing it yesterday and finished today, it took me about 10 hours cus of relocating the radiator..

it runs good and since i flushed my coolant and put new coolant, i have cold ac!! after driving it around for the first time its normal for it to steam up a bit after i shut it off right? im thinking its jus the coolant that spilled or something
