Has anyone had any experience in either disabling the passenger side air bag? Ideally, I would like to just put in a toggle switch to be able to turn it on and off like was on later model vehicles.

I am asking because I take my sone to school in the morning and have a booster seat for him, but my wife is paranoid that he could get hit by the airbag even though we never leave our suburban neighborhood.

I figure all else fails, I just unplug it. Thoughts?
