aftermarket "sleek" headlight wiring... help?
I have this style headlight:
The round light has three wires, and the oval light has 2 wires.... The stock flip up headlight connector is only 3 wires, so I am confused as to what would be the proper way to wire these.
I bought these headlights with this car as a roller so I have no directions for these.
Has anyone else wired up a set of these? I think they are the Carbon Creations housings/lights?
I tried to use the 3 factory wires to the 3 wires on the round bulb, and i get a humming sound coming from the relay area. Could these be HID lights and i don't have the controller box or something maybe? Is there a way to tell if they are HID easily?
thanks
Joel

Email them and ask. The factory headlights are 2in1 (idk the technical term) but they are both bright and dim. Hook up the hots one on each bulb, run a ground from one of them and flip on the lights... See if both dims are on. Shouldn't be too difficult. I could be wrong tho. I'm I DIYer and firmly believe the best way to learn is to dive in.
