Difficult Hot Starting could it be the injectors?
you wrote (You are totally off track. Remember your car starts fine when it is cold out. You would think that if you had a vacuum leak it would be equally hard to start it when it is cold right? Actually it should be harder to start when it is cold with a vacuum leak)
I don't see why it would be harder from the cold, as the ecu adds a lot more fuel on cold start up and vacuum is greater from cold start compared to hot. Also when you have a vacuum leak and your idle is very low or erratic when you add load to the engine like putting on rear window demister of headlights because of the extra fuel being added the idle is raised higher. So a vacuum leak should be more noticeable from a hot start rather than cold as there is less fuel in the mixture when hot compared to cold.

im confused as well guys....
what are the symptoms for low compression??
Hard starting when cold? OR
Hard starting when hot??
I mean there are other factors that contributes to hard starting and it doesnt necessarily means that the apex seal is toast, right??

Well I checked my paper work and I'm still 1500 miles in my warrenty, so I need to take my car to Mazcare and have them do a "professional" check on it so that I can see if I need to contact KDRotary to get something done to the motor.
UPDATE
Just wanted to keep you informed. Below is a letter that I sent to KDRotary and below that is his reply...
Hi Dave,
Long time since I've talk to you, which I guess in your business is a good
thing. The car has run fabulous this past year, I think that I'm right at
about 1 year with it and 10k miles. I'm so happy with this car and it's
performance. I have stayed true to my word and I haven't modded it at all.
Unfortunately I'm having one small issue that normally I wouldn't bother you
with, however it relates to a modification that was done at your shop that's
a little outside the norm.
The car runs GREAT, except after it is warmed up and I park at a store then
come out and try to start it up, it's somewhat difficult to start. It spins
over for a while (just like it sounds when it is flooded), then it catches
and runs normally. I haven't gotten out of the car to see if it smells like
gas or not just yet. When the car is cold it starts up super quick no
problem. However, just after startup it does sounds a little bit rougher
then usual for the first minute. Other than that it runs just fine. My
initial impression is that I have a fuel injector that is leaking a little
bit into the intake manifold. FYI the primaries are only a year old where
as the secondary injectors were rebuilt by RC engineering one year ago.
Someone else suggested that it was the fuel pressure solenoid, of course
that is the solenoid that got bypassed and the vacuum line is going directly
in to the fuel pressure regulator since the rebuild (I think this was
replaced as well when the engine got rebuilt).
Since the solenoid is just along for the ride, is there any reason to
suspect that it is causing this issue? I wouldn't think so, however I had
to check.
Thanks for helping me eliminate this from the list of things that might be
wrong. I do appologize for bothering you with this small issue.

Now his reply.....
Hey Matt...the fuel press solenoid is def not the issue...a leaking fuel
injector is possible...but I havent seen it that often...the more common is
water temp sensor...worn plugs...failing leading coiil...look at those first
and see what ya may find...holler with any questions...thnaks..dave@KDR
