Anyone know the size of the differential crush washer ?

I know that the tranny (transmission) crush washer is M18.

Just to be clear, I'm talking about the drain and fill plug crush washers.

Can you just measure the drain/fill plugs with a micrometer?

They can typically be re-used, stock crush washers are aluminum if memory serves.

Well, I looked up the Mazda part, and it is the same as the tranny plug, which is M18.

Dealer is $1.80/each and you need three if you're doing a tranny and diff oil change.

NAPA has them for about $1, NAPA pn# 704-1390.

FWIW, I smear a very little amount of Hylomar on the threads, after cleaning the plugs in solvent.

I had to recently replace the aluminum washer under the fill plug on the diff as it was leaking.

Found an appropriately sized copper washer in the garage, heated it cherry red with a torch, let it cool off and then use it. Probably not necessary, but I wasn't sure if the washer had already been used.

No more leaks.
