Differences between FD trim

What are the differences between the Base, Touring and R1 Trims?
And, is it worth, in your opinion, to purchase an R1 over the others?

Well, the r1 has dual oil coolers, stiffer springs, no sunroof and no cruise control or a rear wiper and has non-leather seats, but it was common for dealerships to put in leather aftermarket seats into r1/r2's (r1 was for 93, r2 was for 94/95, no major differences). The touring is like the luxery addition, it had leather, a sunroof, only 1 oil cooler, cruise control and so on. The base pretty much didn't have anything, it was well... the base.

EDIT:

I forgot the second part of your question. In all honesty... i would personally go for the r1 or base if I was to buy another rx7. The sunroof in the touring is useless and lowers the height of the roof making it a pain for tall people like myself. The sunroof also weakens frame stability for high horsepower and... it is just sort of stupid anyways.
