Difference in ECU between years?

Was there a difference in the ECU's between years on the FD? Specifically, if I get a '93 or '95 remapped ECU, will it perform as well as a '94 rempped ECU in my '94 7? Are there any issues with the change in EGR or anything of that nature (I think the EGR was the same on the '93 & '94, but changed on the '95 - I'm looking for other things like this that may have some sort of effect)?

thanks

there is a difference between the 93 and 94. I bought a used 93 g force ecu, and it doesn't work with my 94 car. So now I have to send my ECU and the remapped one to G Force to get them to switch the reprogrammed chips.

the 94+ Have a diff EGR so they will not work with the 93's.....why not get the standalone PFC sans commander for ~900 bucks...since XS is right around the corner, it'll beat buying a preprogrammed chip for each time you upgrade
