Difference between Auto and Manual brake master?

Just curious if there is a difference between the two units. I stripped my manual one and there is one from an auto for sale. Are these the same units? Thanks guys.

Sorry i answered you last question and not your first.

they are the same. Proof is that I did my auto>manual swap without having to change the units. in the auto, the nipple to the slave cylinder is just capped off. It would make sense from a production line point of view.

and if they aren't the same, they function exactly the same. Hope this answers your question.
