Diff Brace / Chassis Brace

I have this T shaped diff brace that came on the car when I bought it (the cut marks are so it cleared the exhaust). With the LS1, the diff appears to sit at a slight different angle than with the 13B. I can no longer use the brace as is. Without the diff brace in place... I am missing the middle tunnel chassis brace.

Options:
1. Take it somewhere and bend it so I can use it. (would have to straighten at the crease at the mark on the side towards the diff)
2. Trade my T-brace with someone +cash for the stock middle tunnel brace.
3. Cut it off at the red line and just use that piece as the tunnel brace.

I think i'd like to keep it... seems beneficial.

but.. I'd like to hear other opinions.....Choose an option and tell me why I should choose it!
