eyy guys my friend has an fd with a 99 spec engine...i dunno what he did but he messed up his ecu now the only ecu available over here is the 96 model ecu....is it possible for him to use that ecu? possible probs? anything he needs to look out for?

 

Not that familiar with the new generation ECUs but...aren't the newer ones 16 bit processors vs 8 bit? What that does for compatibility...I don't know.

 

yeah the the S7 and S8 ecu's are different... so i wouldnt use that... import one from Japan if you can.
