dies on turns

With say 1/2 tank or less if i make a sharp left turn, probably right as well but havent really tried, my car will sputter and die for a second. Obviously fuel loss from fuel going to one side of the tank. Is there any way i can get it to not do that?

1/2 tank is too much fuel to be a slosh starvation issue. I suggest changing the fuel filter.

It doesn't matter if he had the 94+ fuel tanks with the "improved" fuel pump pickup baffling, unless he's doing serious autocross or track days, the engine shouldn't die when "doing sharp left turns", and even then it would only be in sustained turns.

I'd be more inclined to make sure you don't have some wiring becoming tangled up with your steering column, or wiring that's worn through near your fender wells from the tires rubbing. And also making sure that you've replaced your fuel filter within the last couple of years.

Its a 93. I changed fuel filter not to long ago when i put in the supra tt fuel pump. Ill check the wiring because i know my tires do rub on turns. If it was wiring do you think it would do it on a slow sharp turn. I guess i forgot to mention that it was happening on fast sharp left turns.

It feels like a fuel issue to me because wheni i straighten out it takes a second or two for the car to pick back up.

im gonna fill my tank todayh and see if it still does it. That should tell me if its fuel i think

Actually I think you should pull the left front wheel first and see if you're rubbing wiring. That's a bad problem to have.

As another suggestion, is it possible that the fuel pump mounting is weak and allowing something to bend/break contacts, etc?

I'd pull the pump out and inspect (takes less than 30 min)
