did a search still know clue? ignition

I installed a jacobs ignition and everything is working great on the ignition side but my autometer tach stoped. It was spliced into the green wire black strip of the igniter. I geuss that wire isnt in use anymore so have any of you had this problem?

Sorry I'm not much help with your problem BUT I thought I'd tell you that if your still running the stock coils the Jacobs ignition box will burn them up.

My mechanic has a Jacobs unit that burnt out the coil (leading ) he now uses a Crane motorcycle coil for a Harley Davidson (twin lead 33000 volt ).This was put in 6 years ago.
