Did i blow my eninge? from MA

The sad story starts here... I was driving back after visiting my friend ats Tufts today.. While i was driving on the highway... I notice the car was accelerating much when i step on the gas... when i pull over the car stopped... and when i restart the engine, the car made "blob blob blob blob.." noise... and the car is shaking... I notice when i was driving the boost peak was only at .21 hkPa.. also i didn't warm up my car before i drove it...

I'm thinking i blew a seal.. what you guys think...

Also is anyone from Mass knows any good garages around...

Start checking the normal things first (blown off vacuum lines, boost sensor line, etc).

dont jump to any conclusions. check your lines and do a compression test.

so far I checked the MAP sensor and it was fine... The car idles around 1000 rmp...

I checked my engine oil and it was low... It almost had nothing.. I haven't change the oil since 4500 miles ago..
so I pour 3 and an half bottle of oil in... but the car still shakes and also the alot of greyish smoke comes out of the exhaust.. and then it the car slowly shuts off by it self.. oh yea the eninge sounds like a lawnmower...

sad sad sad...

Therein lies the problem... Thats why these cars get a bad rep in the first place......

This is why I check my oil *every* time I get gas, no exceptions. Sad indeed

Your oil changes need to be more frequent. In all fairness, the Workshop Manual says every 5000 miles under "Normal Driving Conditions". This is not often enough.

Goodfella is right. Check your oil every time you put gas in the car.

Driving the car cold is ok, just be easy on the car until it is warm.

I hope you just got a scare, and not a rebuild.

Three and a half quarts low, Just put a gallon in or two, that way you don't have to be bothered with checking it so often. Sad is right. And to anyone who's thinking about this I'm not serious.
