Question Did I blow my engine?

hi everybody. last week i when to put some gas in my baby, when i was back on the road i was in 1st and when up to about 6500 to 7000 rpm, for a fraction of a secound it when down to 5000 and back up to 7000, i switched to 2nd and i heard a small poof sound comming out of my exsause with a lil white cloud of smoke, then the car started to jerk so i putted my 4 ways safety lights and at the next red light the car stalled even with my foot on the clutch( lucky of me im about 5 min from home) anyway i restarted the car but i needed to put some gas on the pedal to help the engine to get some momentum but i always needed to give some gas at the red lights to help it of not stalling.( the coolant light was also on) when i got home i left the car like that for a couple of hours, then i started it and it engine was shaking like crazy. its been a week now and me and my friend refired it up but this time the engine dont shake to much but there is a constant white smoke comming out of the exsause and when let it run for 10 min and the engine dont stall anymore but idle very rough.

i drive a FD3S 1995 JDM type R ,stock with turbo timer and boost gauge

check the hose to the map sensor (drivers side firewall).

Do you have a boost gauge? Is the needle ticking back and forth while the car idles?

go out and start the car, and take note of the rpm and well as the vacuum. Check when cold and also once it's warmed up. Be as specific as possible with the readings, and let us know what you find out.

i did what you told me and here some readings: when i started the car RPM 1500~1600, Boost 12 inHg and oil about 5Kg/cm2, then 5 min later RPM 1400~1500, Boost 10 inHg and oil 3Kg/cm2 then 10 min later RPM 1250, Boost 10 inHg and oil 2 kg/cm2, the whole time the engine was shaking a bit the car aswell and a lot of white smoke

ten inches of vacuum at that rpm is not a good sign, especially coupled with a ticking needle on your boost/vacuum gauge

It's tuff to blow an engine in 2nd gear. Check the other side of the map sensor hose and see if it's connected. I think it plugs into the UIM on the firewall side/back side. It's a little trickly to see but make sure it's not split or disconnected. Also be sure there's nothing else tee'd into the line that could of come off.

Is the vac needle bouncy pretty rapidly or sitting still at 10mmhg? Either way buy a $20.00 compression tester and do a test, it takes less than 10 mins and keeps you from chasing your tail if the engine is blown. I think most put it off as they dont want to know the truth.

White smoke means you're burning coolant. Since you said your coolant light came on you probably burnt up quite a bit. Pressure test your coolant system.
