Catz did go out of business, but I heard they were bought by another company or the rights to the lamps. They went under when HID lights were outlawed and had to refund everyone that owned one of their kits.

Well that sucks. One of my grounds is giving me some problems, although the bulbs still work. Jason, let me know if you can find out who the new company is that bought the rights to their products.

thanks,
Rich

HID lights have been outlawed? Where? That's standard equipment on luxury cars.

Retrofitting/aftermarket kits have been made illegal. If the vehicle came standard with them, it is not illegal.

This was last year. Basically, retro-fitted HID's are not DOT compliant (i.e. not street legal) not that it really stops anyone from using them.

You can still purchase Catz products from Japan and Europe. Fet-Catz NA decided instead of getting fined by the NHTSA they would close up shop in NA. Sad really. But you might be able to get some help from JT-Imports or somebody.
