Did anyone have problems with fitting a Bonez downpipe to the stock main cat?

A friend of mine just put a Bonez downpipe on his 93 touring however when bolting it back up to the cat (stock) it really didnt seal very well. Did anyone else have these problems? Yes he used new gaskets.

mine sealed great... maybe it was damaged in shipping.

Was his an Auto or 5sp? Cause my friend had trouble lining his up(auto). He had a PF DP tho. He had to heat his up a lil bit.Then it bolted up fine. Maybe cause it was PF DP and that stuff is garbage to began with.
