Dials light cut out after WOT!?

Dials light cut out after WOT!?
I was driving my car and I done a WOT only through second gear and than the dial light turned just cut off... the other lights work fine... what could be the problem? Could it be just a fuse?

Fuse for the lights, I'm guessing. Or just the bulbs.
I would look at the alternator - if the voltage regulator has gone bad, the wot run might have overvolted and damaged some stuff.
