Question delorean with a rotary?

Ok guys, I know this is f-ing weird, but I wondered if any of you guys might know if the DeLorean (Back to the Future) engine bay would fit a rotary engine in it. I've read that the Delorean engine bay isn't big, and since rotary engines are pretty compact, I think it might fit.

Thanks

Yes, it will fit. I have seen one in person, but it had a 12A going through the stock delorean transmission. However, don't hope on anything more than 200-250hp. That delorean tranny would blow up.
I have heard tales of a 20B Delorean mated to a '90 automatic Porsche 911 tranny

Also, it should be able to hold a rotary if it can hold this...

you can fit a rotary in your back pack... I'm sure it will fit in a delorean.
