Cypher,
to daisy chain the gauges together on the A-pilar the wires are definately sufficient...but when it goes from the a-pilar to the steering column, then to the spot I mounted the CU...it would definately been PIA if I didn't lengthen the cables...actually I don't think it would have been possible...

I used 4 strips of double sided velcro, but then it wouldn't stick so I then put some silicone glue between the strips and slapped it back on there...sticks fine now...

as for wiring, there are 4 wires, white, orange, red, and black..the red and the orange I spliced into my turbo timer harness (the thick red wire) and soldered them both there...you will notice you will need to lengthen these wires too...I took the white wire and soldered that to the positive ash tray light...for the ground I drilled a small hole in the metal support under the steering column (it would be right above your left knee and looks like a 2" wide curved piece of aluminum) I grounded the black wire there...

I think I will definitely be playing with it a little bit to select different gauges and playback some information, so I suppose your mouting spot is very accessible. I happen to have the tourin model so I've got both the DIN's taken for the radio and CD player. If I go aftermarket, I might relocate.

How did you get the CU to stick there, double-sided tape, velcro??

It took me three days working on it about an hour and a half a day...this included cutting and fitting the integra pilar mount, and trying to figure it all out...considering there wasn't much on the forum the actual instructions were sufficient...I also spend about an hour lengthening the cables from the last gauge on the a-pilar to the boost gauge on the column, and the cable from the boost gauge to the sensor...So in all I lengthened three wires...the CU wire, and two daisy chain cables...made the install much nicer than having to stretch **** out.

The boost sensor I mounted in a spare hole right behind the right wheel well close to the top edge of the engine bay...you can't miss it...there are a bunch there..

You can e-mail me if you get stuck

good luck

I am in the same boat. I ordered DEFIs (6: Boost, EGT, Oil T, Water T, Boost, A/F (yeah, lovely sensor, Fuel P). So far I have put in the A/F and Fuel P in a dual speaker pod and run the wires. Not hooked yet. I will ditch the mechanical Pettit Boost (steering column mount) and put the DEFI in there. I got D-gauges not D-Link because Jason won't have them for a while.

Anyways, what are the downsides of piggybacking with the turbo timer or ahstray light?

It sounds really easy, because I installed the TT allready, so I know how to do all those hookups, and I can disable the TT 02 sensor and hook the A/F to that wire...

I believe the dash gauges are not quite 52 MM..and I suppose if you remove all the bezels and the outer glass fitting..you might be able to get in there..

But I think, without some custom work, you won't be able to just replace the stock dash gauges with aftermarket ones..

Actually i saw it done. I forget in what magazine. But someone put autometer gauges i believe in the spots where the stock gauges go. Actually it was either Autometer or REayama. Im not sure if it had to be custom mounted or what.
