Defi boost gauge help

Hello everyone. I need some help with my defi boost gauge. I did a search and all I could find was information relating de defi link control unit version 2. I have the defi link system with the version one controller and only a boost gauge hooked up. I left the battery disconnected for about three weeks because I wasn't going to drive me car. When I hooked up the battery everything was fine except for my boost gauge needle points to 6 o'clock and the red led flashes at a constant rate. According to the newer control unit version 2 the red light flashing means short circuit somewhere, but I really dought that's what happened. I don't remember if there is some sort of calibration o set up for the control unit version one and I don't have the manual any more and I've searched the defi site and the web to see if the was some sort of initial set-up involved with the version one control unit. I'm hoping it's just some set-up that I don't remember how to do or in the worst case maybe the gauge is bad. Any suggestions? Thanks
