There are several distributors sitting on a LOT of Defi inventory, I've heard about a number of shops having difficulty getting shipments due to some informal non-compete and grudges. If you can hook yourself up with a distributor rather than a retailer, expect a 10% above cost price instead of a 10% below MSRP.

Its up to you man what you want to see, if you get what everyone else wants then you will be buying the ones you want again later. I have my 3 below, I dont plan on anymore, but they seem to be doing me fine for 3 years now. (oil temp gauge is a new additional though)

Boost
EGT
Oil temp

Brings Order to Chaos

I had been struggling with this decision recently also. Based on some input from experienced FD owners, I decided on the following gauges:
- Boost/Vacuum (mechanical)
- Water Temperature (electrical)
- Fuel Pressure (electrical)
Choice of manufacturer: Defi
Choice of model: Want BF, but struggling with the price vs. just the D-gauges. It's a form versus function versus cost issue. Difference in price is about $200 not including the Link II.
Choice for mounting: flyrx7's tri-pod mount in center speaker (excellent quality)
Best online pricing I have found for gauges is at: www.optionimports.com & www.egauges.com

those are the exact 3 gauges i will be getting
but def. in bf series.
ive already made adeal with an ebay seller to have free shipping on all the gauges and link control.
it came out to be a total of 715 shipped
i think its a great deal for a brand new setup
now all i need it a power fc with the commander..thats another 900....

Defi does not sell a mechanical boost gauge, unless the D-gauge is.
You can get very high quality Defi gauges and save a bit of money by going with the Link series gauges instead of the BF. The only difference is the fancy lighting of the BF series -- oh, and the 25% price premium over the Link series.
