Please keep the offensive/juvenile language off of this forum. We've all been frustrated by these cars before, but that's no excuse. The next time I see it, you'll receive a temporary ban. Thanks.

The problem isn't with me, the moderating staff, or 'the FD guys.'
The problem is with what you posted----- rascist, anti-semitic, and/or homophobic posts have never been looked upon favorably. I don't see how you could have possibly thought that was ok to post.

I think the 'care to explain' was aimed at Karak and his info on the Steel/Aluminum mounts.

I ran into this same problem when installing aftermarket motor mounts. I dont remember which side is which, but some FD's have a steel motor mount for one side, and use aluminum mounts for the other side. The aluminum mounts, do not have a hole in the middle to install aftermarket mounts, where as the OEM steel mounts do.
Many FD owners have gotten rid of the aluminum mount and installed a steel mount on both sides being that they are interchangeable. If you are installing aftermarket motor mounts, you need to have a steel OEM bracket on both the drivers passengers side for it to work.
I hope that made sense
