well, I am sure it has something to do with your aversion to actually driving an rx-7. I mean who wants to drive when you can polish bolts and incomplete erector set in the garage. hehehe...granted if you ever finish that thing AND it works as well as you hope, we will all be wide-eyed at your creation.
I think he has done a fine job.
BTW>>>WHERE ARE THE DYNO SHEETS GARFINKLE????
Let us see!

Engine Bay looks sweet, but rims were the first thing that I noticed. I hope they are very light, because I could find no other explanation for 3-spoke rims.

It looks sweet and I would own it.
The wheels aren't my favorite, but the car shows attention to detail all over the place! I respect that.
I think that everybody shouldn't build a car that I would like, they should build a car that THEY will like, the attention to detail, etc is something that I respect even if I don't like every aspect of the car.

While the engine bay is nice, it's nothing earth shattering. RTS3GEN here on the forum has had his engine bay very similar (actually better) for years now (and his car is actually tracked and driven).
Kudos to Garfinkle for completing his project though.

Garfinkle's car looks great. Why does everyone jump through loops when his name is mentioned though? Just another person with a car, right? I hear his name a ton on this forum.. Did he do something special? Not trying to insult.. just curious.
I can handle the rims.. At least there seems to be some rubber attached to the rears.
Only thing I really can't stand is the lights. The chrome housings are extremely tacky.

He is running hybrid versions of the already hybrid bnr stage3's. I am curious as hell to see how they perform after all the research, failures, and success I found on running modified twins.

I've seen the car in person and there really is some pretty neat stuff on there that you dont see in the pics. Its one of those cars that the more you really look around the engine the more you notice stuff. He made these pretty cool nuts for everything so they dont look like nuts and it makes it REAL clean. His Y pipe is all fixed up where the crossover pipe actually bolts to the Y pipe and is I think oringed, seems like the intake's are the same way.
Theres quite a bit of cool stuff he's done to it besides just polish. Its a nice car.
Actually....if you look on his secondary intake pipe at the coupler right before it turns down to the turbo you'll notice his "nuts" on the clamps. They look like a cylinder. Those are all over the place and they're really cool and make everything look much cleaner, I dont think you really notice all that stuff from the pics.

Does Jim ever say anything nice about anything? I've been on this forum for years and can't remember him saying anything in someone elses thread that isn't negative or sarcastic. If I were his kid I would sleep the day away so I didn't have to listen to him gripe.
