well, I am sure it has something to do with your aversion to actually driving an rx-7. I mean who wants to drive when you can polish bolts and incomplete erector set in the garage. hehehe...granted if you ever finish that thing AND it works as well as you hope, we will all be wide-eyed at your creation.

I think he has done a fine job.

BTW>>>WHERE ARE THE DYNO SHEETS GARFINKLE????

Let us see!

The point was that while people focus on bitching about my FD not being done as if I were building it for them, I've been driving and modifying other cars at the same time that they don't even know about. Besides, he can't handle the VTEC of the almighty Lumina.

Engine Bay looks sweet, but rims were the first thing that I noticed. I hope they are very light, because I could find no other explanation for 3-spoke rims.

Garfinkle's Engine is one of the cleanest I have ever seen. The wheels aren't that bad in person. Its not what I would pick, but it works.

Garfinkle also polished my stuff and its just awesome!! I highly recommend him!!

So what exactly did David do the exterior of the car that was worthy of praise? I commented on how nice the engine bay looked, with the exception of the hood liner. Did he make those wheels as well?

Well, it really is a damn shame that we can't keep the rabble out altogether, but thank you for limiting your visits.

Right... more innovations and FD-related parts than many FD vendors produce. Thanks for stopping by, and I'm terribly sorry that I criticized your boyfriend's car.

It looks sweet and I would own it.

The wheels aren't my favorite, but the car shows attention to detail all over the place! I respect that.

I think that everybody shouldn't build a car that I would like, they should build a car that THEY will like, the attention to detail, etc is something that I respect even if I don't like every aspect of the car.

the care and time put into this car outweighs the petty rim debate you guys have going on here ....
you guys are focusing on the wrong part of this car ... just ignore the freaking rims, and look and the engine bay ... JAYSUS CHRIST

not only is he one of the most knowledgable rotorheads ive ever been in the presence of, he is also one of the nicest most understanding guys as well ...

i just want one person to see this car in person and tell me they dont wanna own it ....

dishes are done BITCH!!

While the engine bay is nice, it's nothing earth shattering. RTS3GEN here on the forum has had his engine bay very similar (actually better) for years now (and his car is actually tracked and driven).

Kudos to Garfinkle for completing his project though.

Agreed. There are a ton of guys here with nice engine bays.. I'm actually suprised it's not more common.. With all the downtime that comes with owning a FD, you'd think they'd all be a clean..

Garfinkle's car looks great. Why does everyone jump through loops when his name is mentioned though? Just another person with a car, right? I hear his name a ton on this forum.. Did he do something special? Not trying to insult.. just curious.

I can handle the rims.. At least there seems to be some rubber attached to the rears.

Only thing I really can't stand is the lights. The chrome housings are extremely tacky.

He is running hybrid versions of the already hybrid bnr stage3's. I am curious as hell to see how they perform after all the research, failures, and success I found on running modified twins.

I've seen the car in person and there really is some pretty neat stuff on there that you dont see in the pics. Its one of those cars that the more you really look around the engine the more you notice stuff. He made these pretty cool nuts for everything so they dont look like nuts and it makes it REAL clean. His Y pipe is all fixed up where the crossover pipe actually bolts to the Y pipe and is I think oringed, seems like the intake's are the same way.

Theres quite a bit of cool stuff he's done to it besides just polish. Its a nice car.

Actually....if you look on his secondary intake pipe at the coupler right before it turns down to the turbo you'll notice his "nuts" on the clamps. They look like a cylinder. Those are all over the place and they're really cool and make everything look much cleaner, I dont think you really notice all that stuff from the pics.

Guess you missed the memo.

I thought you'd appreciate the extra effort I went to. I often have trouble "dumbing down" my comments so that the 2nd gen. owners who have nothing better to do than lounge around in the 3rd gen. forum can understand them...

Does Jim ever say anything nice about anything? I've been on this forum for years and can't remember him saying anything in someone elses thread that isn't negative or sarcastic. If I were his kid I would sleep the day away so I didn't have to listen to him gripe.
