Dash Trim Overlays? Successes/Failures?

Not the thin vinyl ones, but the more expensive thicker, or at least sturdier ones.

I've seen some nice results in other cars but haven't seen any in FDs.

I know they also make these in black, which would renew the look of the interior plastics in one fell swoop.

Pictures of any installs would be helpful.

Thanks for any input

I think you might have problems with the 94 plastics since you have to prep them due to the texture. You also have to remember that the pieces fit pretty tight against each other. I had my pieces painted and texture matched it the paint was pretty thick. The pieces fit in really tight now.

I have yet to see complete kit for the FD. There are the random carbon pieces out there, but nothing to "restore" the pieces.

I love my OEM interior. Much of that fact may be because it's in mint condition. I realize many people have issues with their plastic. But if I were to repair, I would simply replace with new or great condition pieces. There are plenty of totaled or partout cars with good interiors to be had.

This is in the wrong section btw. I've seen CF overlays in an interior of an Evo. It looked amazing. I have no reason to think it wouldn't look equally as good if done well.
