Dash peeling up by defroster vents, need sugestions.

So when I bought the car almost 2 years ago the leather by the front defroster vents was peeling up and since then I haven't been able to get the time to fix it yet. It's not a HUGE issue right now but I want to get it fixed sometime soon now that I have the time. Unfortunately I don't have the car with me to take the picture but I can say the leather has peeled about 2-3 inches mostly on the passenger side. My question is if anyone else has had this issue what did you guy do to solve it? It's a hard to reach to area so I can't just use some strong adhesive to stick it back down because I can't even reach the stuff with the windshield in the way. Would it be best to remove the wind shield and adhere it down or would adhesive even work in this current situation? Or do you think the dash is a lost cause and I should get a whole new one/ have it professionally redone? Any responses are much appreciated thanks!
