Damn I am in big trouble. Please help!!!

Holy **** of a hell!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just have visited the following web site:

http://www.scuderiaciriani.com/rx7/exhaust.html#HKS

Now please read what I found:

"Whatever you do, don't get the HKS Super Dragger. I switched to a plain old Trust exhaust just a couple days ago because it is completely straight through in the muffler. Not only do I get almost an extra pound of boost, the car feels MUCH faster. If you ever get a chance to look at a Super Dragger, take a look at the inside of the muffler. It's dual chambered and not straight through. Inside those chambers are filled with metal insulators to reduce noise"

And That continue:

"Last April I had my car at Passen Motorsports in Columbus Ohio where they were helping me diagnose a boost problem on my car. There was another 3rd Gen there that was also having boost problems. My problems were vacuum line related, but the other car's problems were finally traced to its Super Dragger exhaust. I don't remember the exact numbers, but with the Super Dragger the car could not make full boost and turned embarrassing numbers on Passen's dyno. They removed the Super Dragger and the problem was solved. With the Super Dragger off the car it turned similar dyno numbers to mine (after being fixed) which turned 230 hp at the rear wheels."

--------------------------------------------------------------

I jumped in my garage (at speed never saw by a human)
and I put the flash light in the cat back to see if my nightmare is thrue!!!!

And Quess What??? I have this ******* cat back
on my 95 FD. Holy Crap of squirrel ****!!!!!!

I am broke............................................. .....

Yes there is two ******* chambers and one is about
1 and a half inches in diameter!!!!!!

...............Killl me..........Kill me....Kill me............

The other hole is about 3 inches in diameter but I
found 2 screens pack in the hole for complete power
Sucking!!!!! total restriction here!!!!

Now I really need a Psy.....

I need a Cat Back ASAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Please quide me on wich cat back to chose.

Wich one should I buy???

Racing Beat?? Tanabe?? G-reddy??

I want free flooooooooooooooooooowww!!!

Please help!!!!!

Thanks all.......
Damn....

Sell yours on ebay, someone will buy it..

As for exhaust choices that really comes down to how loud you want your car to be..

Whoa whoa whoa turbo....slow down!

I have (had) the SuperDragger on my car for quite some time with ZERO problems. Yes, it may be a little restrictive, but guess what? Sometimes that is good. A super duper free flowing exhaust is going to cause boost creep...which if you read on Mr. Ciriani's site, is not a good thing. A little restriction in the exhaust will help control boost. PM Scorpio for his experiences with this situation. Also, I think the Dragger has a very nice, mellow tone, probably one of the best sounding canister mufflers on a rotary.

But, if you insist on having maximum flow there are lots of options. Apexi GT spec flows very well, ATR claims their SS catback flows within 99.99% of a straight pipe. Can't get much more than 99.99%!!

Dude, just buy a new cat-back. I know, it says you're broke in the post, but in the thread you started a couple of hours ago, you say you want to buy a 500hp single turbo kit for ~US$6200. WTF, are catbacks more that $6200?

Sorry if I'm sticking my nose where it doesn't belong, but hey, you asked.

"flooooooooooooooow" comes with loooooooooooooooud" so be prepared, but I am not sure how loud you're exhaust you have now is. There are many exhaust threads already started in this section to help you decide which to buy..

Oh, good. (It turns out that your body is useless at the RX-7 Store anyways - the checking account will be much more beneficial )

Get a Blitz Nur-spec, I just put one on my car last week and I think it is great. $330 for full stainless steel! Sounds awesome too.. can't beat it for the price, maybe not even for $200 more.

How is that post-whoring, mightyslash? He's just trying to get an answer to his post. You know, not EVERYONE visits the 3rd gen section. If he wants maximum feedback...he can post it here and in rotary performance.

YOU my friend are the post-*****.

HKS made two types of super draggers...the early ones where very restrictive (oem might be better)..then they changed the design due to complaints...I heard it got a little better, but I dont know how much

I think you're right Johnny...cause I don't remember mine having all this two or three chamber bullshit. I looked in it and it seemed to have a straight through design.

martini...can you verify?
