SOB not bad. the front is like the old 2000GT kinda'. You could paint that cross bar black so it disappears? Only thing that kills it for me other than never passing CA smog is red engine compartment. I mean he put big bucks in (aren't 3mm seals avail in US too though) and a new motor why didn't paint it then, the red sticks out like a sore thumb. the rims do gotta' go though.

 

i love fds but yuck that car looks terrible. gives me shivers just looking at it.

 

i have when you spend massive $$ and dont get the entire car repainted... That thing should go back to red or do it properly and repaint everything!

 

I can bet that the reserve for it is over 25K....so I'm sure the reserve wont be met by the cheap bastards on ebay

I kinda like that body kit actually... I really like those type2 sideskirts the most and plan to get them someday...the front I'm not sure about

 

Besides that the wide body kit, that may be one of the ugliest FDs I have ever seen in my life. Good God people, he spent all that money and couldn't even get the engine bay painted!!! That kit is ugly, those rims are horrible. If you look at the tail light pic, those aren't even painted right. They look horrible. And if I am wrong in the idea that they are homemade and they really are the JDMs like he stated, then I am glad I painted mine.

I do like the performance upgrades though

whats the fun in buying a modded car?? you buy it, then you cant do anything to it. also, the engine is bridgeported. good luck running that on the street.

Other than the red engine bay, I do like this FD. And I like those rims just because they're different. Anyone know how much they weigh?

The white one is ok-depends on what style your looking for.
But the red on looks like he spent more money on the looks then he did the engine/New IC.

Yeah, the white one does have a pretty Bad paint job now that I look at it. However, that red one Does look pretty good. Just has a vented hood and 99 pieces....no funky body kits. I think it looks pretty clean.

 

Those rims are OG Super Advans. You want real Japan performance those rims were it back in the day. KnightSports, FEED, and HKS used those rims on their cars. They were really popular on FD, NSX and Supra in Japan and were so hard to get in the states. See them in person and you'll change your mind.

Those MAZDASPEED seats he has are rare also. From what i know they don't produce them anymore and I only know of two other sets in the US. They retail for about 8-900 a seat.

 

Not a big fan, but I'm sure there's someone out there who wants it. I am a huge fan of chaste white (my favorite Rx-7 color), but this paint seems to be non-uniform. I have never liked overly articulate body kits. They add weight and drag.

Anyway, it's a very thoroughly modified car, so I'm sure someone will find a use for it and want it. I wonder if he has any aftermarket ECU's lying around.

You've gotta wonder why this guy is getting rid of it so soon.

 

sorry but way thats UGLY. FD's look gorgeous with the right body mods, this guy chose the wrong ones..

 

I agree...not to mention that a car with mods SHOULD be worth less than a car without.

i cant stand that body kit / rims... if i bought the car thats the first thing i would do- swap rims, and swap body kits

 

Yeah, I don't like the front end AT ALL..but I like the rest of the kit.
