daily driver single turbo!!

Hey, I wanted to get a single turbo kit for the fd rx7 for reliability and for less complications of the vacuum lines. I am using the rx7 as a daily driver, what do you guys recommend for a single turbo, i dont want extreme horsepower or anything, just one that puts out a little more then the stock twins maybe. What do you guys think of the gt35r t4? or what single turbo would you recommend? thanks

Search apexi RX6(two kits, the smaller A, and the larger B).

Thats a good "street" single.

I have read a few threads on installs and what not and all the owners seemed pretty happy with the power and response of the 35R. You should scrounge around in the single turbo forum. I think you will find more of what you are looking for.

Dont' forget to read the stickies either!

The GT35R is a good street turbo as far as spool and response. I think any single you go with is going to be noticeably worse on mileage than the twins. However, the 35R is great for later when you want to turn up the boost and have some.

i have a 35r t4 and it is extremely responsive, great street turbo. i would daily drive it if i didnt have to travel so far to school. just dont like putting the miles on it. with the street tune that i got from Chris at Banzai Racing i get btwn 20-25mpgs if i stay out of it most of the time. on very spirited tanks i still average 17mpg which is MUCH better than what i got with boltons and twins. and i have 850s/1600s. its all in the tune!

A-Spec has a T3 GT35 turbo kit. It even works with the stock air box and smog pump. I would use there kits. The're top knoch.

Mileage is all in the tune. My A-Spec GT35R kit is better all around than when I was non-seq with over 345whp and both were better than stock.
