I like that, "getting back on track"

Some pics of my CYM as well...

I have a few ginormous pics (2mb) but I can't access my web server right now, I'll upload them to my server when I can and link from here...

For now I used the forum's attach functionality, hope I did it right...

Car is looking good MirageJHU! IMO when a CYM hits the track, it always looks so dangerously fast.

Great shots. A friend of mine actually got a ride with Scoot in that Silver 4 rotor last time he was in Japan. My friend speaks fluent Japanese and stopped by Scoot's shop one afternoon. Businesswise the place was dead, so Scoot just sat around and shot the breeze with him for 3-4 hours. Ryan said he was getting ready to leave and Scoot asked him if he wanted to go for a spin. I've got a video of him firing her up before they departed as well as another Gen 3 peripheral port that Scoot races. Just need to find a way to shrink the video or get someone to host it for me. It's pretty cool stuff!

As far as the Viper, be not afraid. If you are mildly or heavily modded you should be able to hang with him or take him.
Someone host this video!!!! I wanna see it! Can you host it on streetfire or youtube or something?

Everyone,

I have not forgotten about the Scoot Video, but I can't seem to locate my e-copy. I'll get in touch with my source again after the New Year and see if I can't get a copy of the video to upload. Sorry for the delay.

On another note, just received my N1 Carbon Fiber hood from REsuper7 in New Jersey. Great guy and awesome seller. Anyway, here's a few pics of the hood (Rotary Extreme Knockoff) installed on my CYM. Not sure yet if I'll paint the hood yet or not. Painted would be more subtle, but the carbon fiber ties in well with my gunmetal wheels and carbon fiber overlays in the interior. Oh well... decisions, decisions. Let me know what you think!

It's not rolling very fast in those pics.

General appearance pics go in the sticky thread, not here.

Sorry Dgeesaman, you're correct. Since I started this thread and promised others Scoot Video, I thought this would be the logical place to continue the Scoot conversation and get some feedback on my setup.

My apologies for the misplacement

Nice shots 1reven7, but why the headlamps in the UP position? Must have slowed you down at least a couple of tenths

It's too funny. The reason I ask is that I've bumped my headlights by accident in the past as well. Boy, the way the body's rolling in that one shot, you're driving her hard. Great job, and nice pics. Thanks for sharing.

Wow, those are some great pics; really shows the effects of the suspension. In the first pic, why does it seem like there's a fire underneath your car?

Hey 20B....

Not sure if your question is directed at me or not, but yes, I have considered a clear bra in the past, but costwise I think it was close to $600 installed. Since much of my driving is shorter hauls around town in light traffic I rarely run with the bra on. However, for occasional club drives up North where I know we'll be running in a tight pack on twisties with the chance for flying debris, I opted to just use the bra that I have for now. Also, the nose of my car DOES have several rock dings that would make smooth application of the clear bra challenging. It's best to apply this type of product within a month or two of fresh paint (IMO) for best results.

Yeah it was to you, I only ask'd because bra's can actually damage your paint and cause the paint to fade unevenly if left on for long periods of time, but if you only use it periodically It should be okay
