oh, on another note... How many FD's have you owned and rebuild Jeff? I was looking at some of your other albums and you have a pic of a damaged VR on the street, and two other VRs in the garage

I've had 20 FDs. 3 with accident damage that have been repaired, 4 parts cars the rest were just cars that needed motors, etc.

Wow.... What do you do with them after completed? Keep the ones that "grow on you" and the rest sell?

You have done an amazing job Jeff. From a bare half shell... to what it is now.... wow!

Must have one super cool wife to give you soo much freedom .

Gives me hope for putting my wiring back in place if you have done so much with yours.

You know that's one thing I really wouldn't want to do is actually strip a shell. I'd be afraid I would never get the wiring run right again and all the little miscellaneous clips etc in the right places.

I wonder too.

If the car was stock, no mods I'd probably have $15-16K into it. I've looked at several other CYMs for sale over the years and they never seem to be what they are represented as, so I decided I'd rebuild this one.

Great job Jeff! I work at the Subaru plant in Indiana and when we are getting ready to build a new model the pre-production units look like yours did. It always amazes me as to see it come together bit by bit. We have help with engineers from Japan and it still is a mess, I would never have the patience to do one by myself. Great job!!!!!!!!!

Jeezus Jeff...I'm sorry I missed this work of art!!! Too bad my FD isn't having as good o' luck as all your projects.

Hopefully, mine'll be runnning by the end of next month...I still have to send the engine back to Pineapple Racing to see what they think.

Other than that...as always, your work is impeccable. Simply awesome.

Thanks for the comments guys!

Tonight I got the radiator back from the shop, the upper tank pipe is modified so it now fits perfectly with the fans.

Unfortunately about 10min after I put my hands on it to put it back in the car I poked a hole in it with a drill. Long stupid story, but anyway, back to the shop tomorrow...

What's up with your motor? Did you do a compression test?

Give me a call sometime.
