cutting out

ok, yall good news, my car is running better that has been, for those who have been keeping up with my saga.

ok, i finished my auto manual swap, and i had serveral problems, but im clearing them up, thanks to yall and some local mechanics, heres the present and last problem i hope.

ok, when i drive the car, things are going fine, but every now and then, (about every 2 min) the car will cut out around 2500 rpm's, just lose power, and than it will clear up soon afterward, it does it worse if it is in neutral, for example, in my driveway, i was in first gear, i did fine, i drove up the driveway, reached about 4000 rpms, at WOT, and did great, instantly i rev it in neutral, and it did that whole lose of power cut out thing, and the check engine light blinked, than i put it in gear again, and it did fine, but it did stumble around in gear while driving also, just not as much.

the idle is kind of rough to, just sputters, nothing terrible.

i have a BOV, and gutted downpipe, and just put new plugs in, thats it, but the problem seems to be getting better, cause last week, it stubled all the way down the road.

thanks guy, any ideas?

update,

i drove the car for a while yesterday, and if i kept my foot steady on the gas pedal, the car would accelerate fine, all the way to the red line, but if i took it off, it would sputter and cut out, and then run good again, when it got below about 2500 rpms, did this about all the time.

any ideas?

ok, no one has responded, so let me think about this, i did the swap, my auto redlined at 7000 rpms, and the new manual ecu allows it to rev to 7500 rpms, but i kept my old rpm gauge, so does this mean that it is still accurate? is it showing 500 rpm difference?

im just thinking, that my problem occurs at 2500 rpms, which makes no sense for the secondary injectors to give my a problem (i think they come on around 3000 rpms) but if my rpm gauge if off, maybe its showing 2500 rpms, but actually at 3000 rpms and this is an ingector problem, instead of a fuel pump, fuel filter, or fuel line leak problem, or fuel pressure problem, what do yall think, im just throwing out crap here, what would my car do if it had clogged or bad secondary injectors?

thanks

ok, im posting to myself, another interesting problem, the symptoms of my car cleared up, after it warmed up, but only in neutral, when i would press the clutch pedal in, it sputtered and the check engine light blinked, but as i have said, i did the swap, and there are no NO, harnesses hooked up to the clutch pedal, so how can this be affecting it?

HELP!

ouch! Have you asked some of the other guys who are doing this also?

I've forgotten all the things you've done (which harness, which ECU, etc.) can you reply to one of your older posts with this info so we can see what you're up to again? Some of your first posts are 7 pages back, making it real hard to keep up.

If you have the manual ecu, I think you need a clutch switch input into the ECU to keep it from sputtering when you put the clutch in. Is it more like you are putting the clutch in and shifting into 1st, and THAT's when the problem occure? Are the 1st and 2nd swirches on the manual tranny hooked to anything going to the ECU?

Hey mcfly4001 this is a strange problem. as i read more into the fourm there is a lot of people dealing with the same thing. try looking at there posts for more info. i'm a newbie so this might be a really stupied question but what does "WOT" stand for? Keep at it. the car will come to you one day.
