Custom Solenoid rack project

Yes, they should technically work under heat however we are uncertain for how long. Therefore it is a much better choice to have them relocated behind ABS unit to prolong the life of all solenoids.
As a matter of fact, the custom solenoid racks that Saxyman customized 4-5 years back are still functioning per some forum member who owned it. And I believe mine will be just as good if not better.

Well if the ratnest is removed, IT MIGHT fit. However the whole point is to remove the solenoids from heatsoak therefore the reason of relocation.

IIRC, didn't Saxyman mount his on the firewall right behind the UIM?

If you are super **** retentive (like I am) about tucking everything...
The FD uses a double fire wall.
You can use the space between to rout things, you just have to drill & rubber bung the holes, so it doesn't chafe.
Or
Bend up hardlines that moun to fittings at the firewall (like brake hardlines @ the ABS unit) and run soft lines from the engine to he fire wall, then from the fire wall to the solenoids.

LCA came in this morning. Had it installed and took the FD out for a "test" drive and just got a little too much fun and went up to 140. SORRY GUYS, I KNOW I KNOW. I shouldnt have done that on public roads but it was a long stretch and not much traffic.
So, lets talk about the custom rack itself and it's benefits:
1) It got rid of the 3k hesitation that the FD originally had and that put a huge grin on my face
2) The throttle response was alot better compared to it's original state with all solenoid working prior to sticking solenoid.
I could conclude that this custom rack is now ready. I will need to finalize everything and make a complete kit that consist of:
*4 custom solenoid (TCP, TCV, CRV, CCV) with the spec of:
Viton seals
Stainless steel internals
Molded coil
Custom aluminum manifolds
100psi rating
Use custom #10-32 brass nipples
high temp
* Assortments of Brass fittings
* 3 Viton Check valves
* Assortments of plastic Y splits and/or T splits
* Mounting bracket
* PDF installation guide
* Vacuum Diagram for this custom solenoid rack application
::OPTION::
*Direct Plug-N-Play Pigtails from Solenoid rack -> 8 Pin Connector WeatherPack -> 4 separate pigtails with weatherpack connectors for the 4 solenoids
^ If this option is chosen, you will need to either Crimp the 4 solenoid connectors pigtail to OEM harness OR solder is required.
If interested, please start an interested list and I will finalize everything within the next couple of days and I shall become a vendor and start distributing these solenoid racks.
Admins, if I am doing anything wrong here. Please let me know as I am new to this GB situation. Thanks in advance!

I am actually more surprised no one has realized the need for upgraded solenoids. There are aftermarket everything for our cars but this. I was going to put together a kit for myself over the winter but since you making a kit it is one less thing I have to make for my car. Thank You.
