That is what I figured. Just wanted to double check.

Not sure on mounting location but near the ABS pump looks like a decent place. I would take the simplest option to do a proof of concept and then figure out a long term location.

They are not made for those type temps. Only way for them to last down their is with a metal sheild and thermo covering.

Hate to say but it sits on the bench. My problem is that I have a perfectly running FD, so I have little incentive to put her under. In the mean time I collect parts, build sub-systems and change mine mind and do it again. So I build up a fuel system with brand new injectors reworked by RC, new lines, pressure damper, regulator, filter system, modified OEM fuel rails, but now I am stuck on the LIM/UIM. I purchased an Xccesive LIM and was very disappointed with the casting quality, undersized ports, uneven sizes of runners, etc . that I figured that JDM units may be better I know own 3 UIM/LIM setups and sit debating which to send off for porting and cerama coating. Even on the solenoids, I have lost direction first all 103's like Rob, now figure best 9at lest cleanest look install) maybe some combinations of 103 and 104's At the end of the day I will have many like new parts for sale. Too much money, not enough time.

Its installed, mounted, and all the hoses are routed. Couldnt start the car today because of a cracked ignition coil arcing out to the manifold. I will take some pics probably monday and post em up. Let yall know how smooth and beautiful my turbos are when I finally get her running.

Read the thread, find you local FabcoAir distributor, and buy the parts. "Some assembly required". We broke the code of Rob's system, but as I stated earlier I am not in the kiting business.

haha that Y pipe looks like mine...all hacked up and shortened. except i rotated the mount 90degrees before welding it back together...makes it easier to get to the studs/nuts.

These solenoids will not last under the intake manifold. Its only about 300$ to relocate all of the necessary solenoids. Not a big deal in my opinion. Im sure you could mount these right behind the intake manifold on the firewall as well.

What are you talking about? These solenoids are designed to handle much higher temperatures (As long as you specify which materials you want used) than the stock solenoids.
