Two questions:

1. 2-3/8" core? That's very skinny.
2. stock radiator?

The straight pipes off the y-pipe and inlet elbow are nice idea though.

The stock radiator with a FMIC is ok for normal street driving. I had no temp problems whatsoever even this past summer, with temps reaching close to 100 degrees, my gauge was pinned to 190F max. Thats with the fans on manually btw.

My point is that the stock rad has plastic endtanks....major point of failure on higher mileage/older rads.

My custom core size is 20"x3.5"x8". It works great for response w/ the stock turbos, small single. Nice job. Garret

when a FMIC is installed and the radiator is now in a near vertical position, do the stock rad hoses still work?

the top one must be trimmed, the bottom one was too short.

no pics with the front bumper yet, im still trimming it to fit with the new core.

good job bro, I love seeing custom work on FDs, I did the same thing, just sat the RAD up a bit to fit pipes over the top and with the flexible stock RAD pipes it was easy to fit

Nice job on the IC.

Noticed the Apexi intakes are right up on the radiator. The Koyo is a little more than twice as thick, so there may be a minor clearance issue. The Apexi intakes are the first ones I used, but I later got the GReddy Airinx which come with smooth pipes and stay closer to the passenger side of the engine bay. I actually noticed the car was faster with the Airinx.

Again nice job on the custom work.
